We understand that there may be situations when you want to make changes to your data in your CopeCart account. Our support team is available to help you with this. Please note that for privacy reasons, we require valid proof of the change and may need to re-verify you in the account to ensure the integrity of your data.
First and last name
To make changes to your first or last name, please contact our support team.
Example: You got married, and your last name has changed. We need proof of the name change.
Once your account has been validated, you cannot transfer your account to another person.
Username
Please note that your username is also your affiliate name and cannot be changed.
Exception: Vendors/affiliates who have not yet received a payout or made any sales are excluded from this rule. Just send us an email, and we will check the change of your username as soon as possible.
E-mail address
You can change your e-mail address yourself in your account. Please follow the given instructions. Here, you can find a guide: Change the e-mail address on your account.
Company
To change the company name, please contact our support team and tell us the reason for the change (change of name, new company, etc.). We will take care of it as soon as possible.
Address
If your address has changed within your country, please email us at support-us@copecart.com with proof of the new address. We will check the change as soon as possible.
Tax Number
You can change your tax scheme/tax number from your account settings.
Your account type
In the account settings, you can customize your account type. If you currently have an affiliate account, you can switch to a vendor account here to start selling your own products immediately. However, if you only want to be an affiliate, you can also switch from a vendor account to an affiliate account.
As a seller, you can promote products as an affiliate. However, our best advice is to have separate accounts, as your payouts will be sent together, which could be confusing for your accounting.
Tracking order form
By including Google Analytics/Facebook Pixel in your site's code, you can continuously analyze and statistically evaluate your website—simply by inserting a tracking code!
To enable Google Analytics and/or Facebook Pixel, go to the Tracking section on the product edit page, check the appropriate option(s), and save the changes.
