Delete or deactivate product

Please note: If one of your products or test products has already been sold, you cannot delete it, only deactivate it. When a customer buys a product (or when you make a test purchase), a corresponding record appears in the database. This record cannot be deleted, as CopeCart is obliged to continue storing them after the order.

Deactivate product:

  1. Log in to your CopeCart account and go to the "Products" tab from your main menu.

  2. Select the product you want to deactivate and click "Edit".

  3. On the top right above your product image, you set your product to "inactive" and the product will no longer be displayed on the marketplace.

Please note: If one of your products or trial products has not been purchased, you can delete it immediately.


Delete product:

  1. Log in to your CopeCart account and go to the "Products" tab from your main menu.

  2. Select the product you want to delete and click "delete".

3. Your product has been successfully deleted.


FAQ's

  1. Why am I not able to delete my product?
    There are two possible reasons for this:

    • The product has been sold at least once.

    • The product is an add-on in a different product.
